Dive Byron Bay

Blue Groper Dive and snorkel the Cape Byron Marine Park with Byron Bay Dive Centre. Experience the underwater brilliance of Julian Rocks Marine Reserve, one of Australia's top ten dive sites.

The reserve is home to tropical species such as turtles and manta rays, as well as over four hundred different species of fish. A small selection can be seen in our photo gallery.

At the Byron Bay Dive Centre you can complete a range of PADI and SSI dive courses but be prepared to share your classroom with giant sea turtles and friendly blue gropers.

The Byron Underwater Festival 2008 was amazing

From April 30th to May 4th Byron Bay turned into a hub for marine enthusiasts of all kinds. The 2nd annual Byron underwater Festival featured loads of events including an underwater photo and video shootout competition with over $20,000 worth of prizes, marine wildlife presentations, photo clinics, camera try-out dives and loads of other fun events including stuff for kid.
