Health and safety policy
1. Pre-Tour Preparation and Liability
- Guests must read and complete the Waiver of Liability release form, according to the activity purchased, prior to the tour.
- Those with respiratory issues, heart conditions, or other relevant health problems are not advised to participate in the activities we offer.
- Any medical conditions must be disclosed to us, and we will require written clearance from a medical professional for guests with conditions that may pose increased risks by participating in the tour.
- Recent surgeries or injuries might prevent you from partaking in vessel activities.
- Pregnant women or individuals with back or spinal injuries are prohibited from vessel based activities.
- Our snorkel and in-water tours require sufficient swimming skills to be able to swim 200 metres without assistance, and to be certified divers if necessary.
2. Equipment
Snorkel Equipment Check:
- All snorkelling equipment is regularly inspected and maintained. Guests are fitted with the appropriate size and instructed on proper use.
- It is up to the guest to notify the staff members if there is an issue with the fittings or state of the equipment.
Diving Equipment Check:
- All diving equipment is regularly inspected and maintained following protocols and standards. Guests are fitted with the appropriate size and instructed on proper use.

3. Weather-Related Cancellations
We continuously monitor weather conditions using reliable sources and local marine advisories.
Cancellation Policy:
- Tours may be cancelled in the event of high winds, heavy rain, poor visibility, strong currents or other adverse weather conditions. Guests will be notified as early as possible and offered options to reschedule or receive a full refund.
4. Safety Briefing and Instructions
Briefing:
- Before each tour, a comprehensive safety briefing is conducted covering:
- Tour itinerary and necessary instructions
- Safety protocols and emergency procedures
- Use of equipment
Instructions:
- Guests must follow the crew instructions at all times.
5. During the Tour
Supervision:
- Qualified and experienced staff are present on all tours, equipped with safety gear and communication devices.
6. Environmental and Wildlife Protection
Marine Life:
- Guests are instructed to observe marine life without disturbing it. Touching or feeding wildlife is strictly prohibited.
Environmental Conservation:
- We promote environmental conservation to our guests and staff during all of our activities and regularly review our policies and procedures to minimise any harm to the environment.
7. Incident Reporting
Any incidents or near misses are documented and reviewed to improve future safety measures.
8. Health and Hygiene
Sanitization:
- All equipment is sanitised before and after each use.
Illness Protocol:
- Guests and staff showing symptoms of illness are advised to stay home. In such cases, please refer to our cancellation policy to reschedule or request a refund, if applicable.
